Fitness blogger Vadim Ivanov, known by the pseudonym Do4a, has died at the age of 37. He was recognized as a bodybuilder and founder of the Do4a sports nutrition store chain, which has branches also in Vladivostok.
Vadim Ivanov was born in Berdsk, Novosibirsk Region, and moved to Saint Petersburg in 2014. He is considered one of the first fitness bloggers in Russia, actively promoting bodybuilding. Among his personal achievements is the title of Master of Sports in bench press.
Colleagues reported his death on 20 July. In his personal Telegram channel, they reminded that Vadim had health issues and was attempting to recover.
“Friends. It is very hard for us to write this post. Vadim is gone. The person who ran this channel, shared his thoughts on business and life with you, joked, supported and inspired. Vadim was a man with a huge heart and incredible energy. He knew how to ignite faith in themselves in people, was a true leader and friend to many — both in business and in life,” the Telegram channel ‘Do4a — Third Breath’ stated.
It is known that at age 28 Vadim suffered a heart attack, and in the summer of 2025 he had another heart attack and pneumonia. Later, Vadim’s wife confirmed that the cause of his death was heart problems.
“From June 2025 his condition began to deteriorate rapidly, and the last six months were especially hard. We fought to the end, but unfortunately, Vadim’s body could not cope,” Anna Ivanova wrote.
Vadim founded the Do4a sports nutrition chain in 2014. Initially, they operated in Saint Petersburg, but later appeared in many other Russian cities, including Vladivostok — currently four stores operate in the Far Eastern capital. One of them is located in a shopping center in Golubinaya Pad, a district of Vladivostok, which caught fire in March 2024.
At one of the branches, a correspondent of VLADIVOSTOK1.RU was told that Vadim’s death will not affect the operation of the stores, as they operate under franchise and belong to a local entrepreneur.
