Fire in Ulyanovsk two-story building kills man

On the evening of January 19, in the village of Tetyushskoye in Ulyanovsk district, a person died in a fire, according to the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations (MChS). The fire started in a two-story apartment building on Yubileynaya Street. Nine people were evacuated from the building.
Two fire engines and 12 rescuers were involved in extinguishing the fire. The body of the deceased was found in the apartment where the fire started. The exact cause of the fire will be determined by experts.
MChS employees once again remind Ulyanovsk residents of the need to observe safety measures when using household heaters. Do not leave switched-on appliances unattended and do not plug several powerful devices into one outlet.
