Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Leningrad Region reported the elimination of open flames at a polymer production facility in Vsevolozhsk. The incident occurred at 117 Vsevolozhsky Prospekt, Building 1, with the alert received shortly before midnight on July 20. The fire was fully extinguished by 03:20 on July 21.
Emergency services extinguished a fire covering nearly 6,000 square meters at a polymer plant in Vsevolozhsk.
Due to strong winds, fire crews worked in difficult conditions. The fire engulfed nearly 6,000 square meters. More than 50 personnel and over 20 pieces of specialized equipment were involved in the extinguishing efforts.
According to open sources, several enterprises are located at the specified address: Terra-Plast, Mixplast, and the Center for Radiation Technologies. However, eyewitnesses clarified that the fire was not in the main building but in an adjacent one-story structure without an official address, which was used as a warehouse.
