On 5 February, a fire broke out in the building of the Nadezhda oncology clinic located on Zmeinogorsk Highway in Barnaul.
According to the press service of the regional Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for Altai Krai, the cause was the ignition of insulation in the ventilation system.
The fire was quickly extinguished; the area of the fire was about two square meters. More than 50 firefighters and about 14 units of equipment worked at the scene. The department added that no one was injured as a result of the fire. The causes of the incident are being determined.
