An explosion occurred at one of the enterprises in Dzerzhinsk. According to the State Labor Inspectorate for the Nizhny Novgorod Region, one person was injured.

According to the agency, the incident happened on January 20 around 7 p.m. at the enterprise LLC «Sintez PKZh». An explosion of carbonyl iron occurred there.

Preliminary information indicates that a 38-year-old worker was injured. He has numerous injuries of varying severity.

The Labor Inspectorate is currently investigating the incident.
