The State Labor Inspectorate for the Nizhny Novgorod Region confirmed an explosion at one of the enterprises in Dzerzhinsk, which resulted in one person being injured.
The emergency occurred on January 20 at around 19:00 on the premises of LLC Synthesis PKZh. According to preliminary data, the cause was an explosion of carbonyl iron.
The victim was a 38-year-old employee of the enterprise. He sustained numerous injuries of varying severity.
The Labor Inspectorate is currently investigating the circumstances of the incident.
Recently, several incidents have been noted in the Nizhny Novgorod Region. In Nizhny Novgorod, an explosion in the basement of a residential building led to a rupture of the central heating pipe and damage to the interior. The probable cause was careless handling of fire. Additionally, near the Borsky Bridge in the area of Siberian Zaton, a major fire broke out on a floating crane, resulting in one death.
