A drone attack danger in Voronezh Region was declared on the morning of Thursday, February 5 — Governor Alexander Gusev reported this at 06:15 on his official channels. At the same time, warning systems were activated in the Rossochansky District — an SMS from the regional head arrived a minute later. There is a direct threat of a drone strike there.
«Please remain calm. Air defense forces are on alert. Follow further notifications from the regional government or from Russia«s Ministry of Emergency Situations. Rossochansky District — go indoors, move away from windows. If you see a drone, immediately leave its line of sight and call 112,» Alexander Gusev addressed residents.
Prior to this, Ukrainian drones attacked Voronezh Region on the night of February 3, and air defense systems were active. On January 20, Mayor Sergei Petrin spoke about how homes damaged by Ukrainian Armed Forces strikes are being restored in Voronezh. It turned out that by that time, repairs to the entrance of a high-rise building where a staircase collapsed on December 10 had not yet begun. Meanwhile, 14 people remained in temporary accommodation centers.
Update. The threat of a drone strike in the Rossochansky District was cancelled at 07:14. The danger of attacks across the entire region remains as of 07:31.
