Districts with most crimes by drunk Omsk residents named

Police have revealed which Omsk city districts recorded the highest number of crimes committed by drunk residents last year, along with the most common types of offenses.

In the Omsk region last year, 1,951 crimes were registered as being committed by people under the influence of alcohol. Of these, 842 occurred in the city of Omsk. For comparison, in 2024 there were more such cases — 2,404, including 1,056 in the city. They were most often recorded in the Sovietsky (215) and Kirovsky (182) districts. This was reported to NGS55.RU by the regional police department.

Omsk residents under the influence of alcohol most often committed three types of crimes.

Omsk residents who had consumed alcohol most often committed theft of others« property — 270 thefts, threatened murder or the infliction of grievous bodily harm — 93 incidents, and drove a vehicle while intoxicated, while already having been deprived of their driver»s license for a similar offense — 74 criminal cases were initiated.

The majority of such offenses in Omsk were committed by men — 631 cases. Those involved were typically city residents aged between 30 and 39. Minors committed seven crimes while intoxicated in 2025.
