On the night of February 5, fragments of unknown origin fell on the territory of a warehouse facility on the outskirts of Bataysk (Rostov region, Russia). The incident damaged the building and several parked cars.
The city«s mayor, Valentin Kukin, reported the incident on his Telegram channel. He clarified that the falling debris was related to repelling an air attack. »Immediately after the report, all emergency services arrived at the scene. There are no casualties, the area is being inspected. I ask everyone to remain calm,« the mayor wrote.
Earlier, the head of Bataysk had already addressed residents, reporting loud sounds heard in the sky and urging them not to approach windows and to remain calm. Specialists are currently working at the scene.
