Criminal Case Ordered After Yaroslavl Bus Accident

The collision between two buses on Aviatorov Avenue in Yaroslavl resulted in five passengers being injured.
Head of the Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin has ordered a criminal case to be initiated after a bus accident in Yaroslavl. Five passengers were injured in the incident. It all happened on Aviatorov Avenue on the afternoon of January 18.
«The driver of a route bus, while transporting citizens, did not yield to another public transport vehicle departing from a bus stop pavilion. As a result of the accident, five passengers were injured, one of whom was hospitalized with injuries,» the department reports.
The Yaroslavl Investigative Committee has begun an inspection. Employees of the «Transport Organizer» are also assessing the damage, and it is being determined when the vehicles can return to their routes.
According to the «Transport Organizer,» the vehicles involved in the accident on Aviatorov Avenue were those operating on routes No. 90 and 39.
