A serious traffic jam quickly formed at the scene. Traffic toward the Sortirovka district of Yekaterinburg was significantly hampered as drivers tried to bypass the accident site.
Initially, the city’s State Traffic Safety Inspectorate (GIBDD) refrained from commenting on the incident.
