On Kirenskogo Street on the afternoon of February 5, a bus caught fire near the Institut stop, a reader told NGS24.RU and the press service of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry for Krasnoyarsk Krai confirmed.

According to firefighters, the fire covered 25 square meters. There were no casualties, according to preliminary information. Four firefighters and one special vehicle fought the blaze.
The cause of the fire is being determined. According to preliminary data, it was a bus on route No. 63.
According to the website busti.me, route 63 is operated by the private company KPATP. It is owned and managed by Tatyana Ilyushenko. Calls to the carrier«s numbers listed in the Kontur.Fokus service went unanswered.
In December 2022, the company had another bus fire. That fire occurred on Belinskogo Street near the medical university. Another bus on route No. 63 caught fire in Solnechny in February of the same year. In both cases, no one was injured.
