The collision took place on Veterans Avenue near the intersection with Soldat Korzun Street. According to the Telegram channel «Megapolis | Traffic Accidents and Emergencies | St. Petersburg | Peter,» the bus has front-end damage, and the BMW crossover has severe rear damage.
After the accident, the vehicles blocked several traffic lanes at once. According to the service «Yandex.Traffic,» the resulting traffic jam stretched from Kozlov Street.
Due to the road closure, the routes of several trolleybuses were temporarily changed. This involves routes numbered 20, 29, 37, 44, and 46. The press service of the «Transport Organizer» reported this. As of now, trolleybus traffic along the usual routes has already been restored.
