A second victim has been rescued from the rubble of the collapsed shopping center on Naumova Street in the Pervomaysky District of Novosibirsk. The evacuation of the injured woman was filmed by a reader of NGS.

The footage shows rescuers placing the victim on a stretcher and then transferring her into the bucket of a loader. With its help, the woman was lowered from the second floor of the building.

As reported by the Minister of Health of the Novosibirsk Region, the victim has been handed over to doctors.

«Periodically, a minute of silence is announced to detect people. A total of 100 people and 33 pieces of equipment are involved in eliminating the consequences of the incident. Heavy machinery, including a crane for clearing debris, is heading to the site,» commented the emergency in the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations (MChS) for the Novosibirsk Region.

The two-story shopping center on Naumova Street collapsed on 21 January around 16:00 MSK. At that time, sellers and buyers were in the building. Investigators from the Investigative Committee have initiated a case under Article 238 of the Russian Criminal Code (providing services that do not meet safety requirements for the life and health of consumers), and the prosecutor«s office is also conducting an inspection.
