The morning in Essentuki brought alarming news: reports indicated that several schools had been targeted with bomb threats. Specialists are now conducting checks.
The situation was reported by the head of Essentuki, Vladimir Krutnikov, on his Telegram channel. The information concerns schools No. 1, 2, 8, 10, 12, 4, 7, 9 and 11. The mayor asked residents to remain calm — law enforcement and emergency services are already conducting inspections.
Similar reports emerged before the New Year holidays. On 24 December, threats were reported against School No. 3 and School No. 4, which is under renovation. Since students were relocated, authorities decided to evacuate Schools No. 7 and 9. However, the threats were later found to be false.
Just yesterday, a bomb threat was reported at School No. 1 in Essentuki. A total of 600 children were evacuated. Fortunately, that threat also proved to be false.
