Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia (SK Rossii) Alexander Bastrykin ordered a criminal case to be opened and a report on the circumstances of the accident on the Apatity–Kirovsk highway.

Recall, the accident occurred on the afternoon of July 19 — a passenger minibus of route No. 102 overturned. According to preliminary information, the driver felt ill. Several people were injured, including an eight-year-old child.

Investigative bodies of the SK Rossii for the Murmansk Region are conducting a check on signs of a crime under Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, «Provision of services that do not meet safety requirements for the life or health of consumers.»
