Arkhangelsk Oblast Villages to Face Power Cuts

In 19 villages of the Kholmogorsky District, electricity will be cut off. Work on power grids will be carried out.
«In connection with urgent emergency work on the VL-110 Siyskaya line, power supply will be suspended from substations PS-39 and PS-40,» the district administration reported.
On February 6 from 12:00 to 17:00 and on February 7 from 10:00 to 17:00, electricity will be cut off in:
Svetly settlement;
Nizhnyaya Palenga settlement;
Petukhovo settlement;
Rozhevo settlement;
Leunovo settlement;
Ust-Pinega settlement;
Gorka village;
Varda village;
Kuzomen village;
Pechki village;
Gbach village;
Verkhnyaya Palenga village;
Bereznik village;
Pustoshka village;
Pepino village;
Nizhnyaya Palenga village;
Kargomen village;
Belogorsky settlement;
Pershkovo village.
Power will also be absent at Palenga station.
«Reconnection will occur without warning and may happen earlier than the specified time,» the administration of the Kholmogorsky District reported.
It is recalled that on February 2, an emergency power outage occurred in the Pinezhsky and Kholmogorsky districts of Pomorye. A total of 9,171 homes were left without electricity, as well as 85 socially significant facilities, including schools, kindergartens, and boiler houses.
The accident happened due to adverse weather conditions. The problem occurred on the line between Ugzenyga and the village of Siya.
