After Yessentuki and Lermontov, Two Districts Evacuate Schools

Information about possible bomb threats at several educational institutions was received in Shpakovsky Municipal District and Kochubeyevsky Municipal District. The message was passed to emergency and law enforcement services, after which evacuations of children and staff began, and specialists started inspecting school buildings.
Local authorities said the measures are aimed at a full inspection of the facilities and eliminating any threat. Residents are asked to remain calm and rely only on official information. Additional data will be published immediately after the inspections are completed.
Due to law enforcement operations, classes for the second shift on 5 February in schools of Shpakovsky District will be held remotely.
Reports of possible bomb threats are coming in across Stavropol Krai and have become widespread: in the morning, nine schools were evacuated in Yessentuki; then in Lermontov, 2,701 students were taken out of educational institutions; later, Budyonnovsky District joined the inspections; reports of bomb threats also came from Kislovodsk; now alarming information has been recorded in Shpakovsky District.
In all cases, the information is being checked; there is no official confirmation of the reality of the threats at this time.
