Adygea confirms drone attack, apartment block and parking lot ablaze
Residents in the region reported hearing powerful explosions that shook windows and lifted curtains.
On the evening of January 20, a drone attack was recorded in Adygea. This was reported by the head of the republic, Murat Kumpilov, at 23:23. In the village of Novaya Adygea in the Takhtamukaysky District, a multi-story building caught fire, and the flames spread to a parking lot with cars. No casualties were reported.
«Emergency services are working on site, and the head of the district, Asker Savv, has also arrived there. All those in need will receive necessary assistance, and a temporary accommodation point for citizens will be set up,» Kumpilov said.
Recall that around 22:40, residents of Krasnodar and Adygea heard a sound resembling a powerful explosion. Locals reported that their windows shook and curtains were lifted. The loudest was in Adygea, the Yubileyny and Festivalny microdistricts.
