9-year-old rescued from trapped car after highway crash

A crossover with a nine-year-old child crashed into a truck on the M-5 highway in Bashkortostan. The mother of the minor was driving — fortunately, both survived, but rescuers had to extract them from the car. Details of the accident were reported by the traffic police of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

It all happened this morning, January 21. Preliminary reports indicate that between Dema and Avdon, a Nissan Terrano crashed into a stationary MAN truck. The impact was so strong that the crossover was crushed — a 45-year-old woman and her 9-year-old son were trapped in the car.

The arriving rescuers were able to pull them out and hand them over to doctors. It is known that the boy sustained injuries and was sent to the hospital, while his mother was not injured.

At the scene, employees of the traffic police and the Ministry of Emergency Situations are working.

Recall that the day before in Kumertau, a driver was found who fled after hitting a mother with two children at a crosswalk. From the impact, the car«s bumper fell off. For now, the reckless driver has been arrested for 14 days.
