20-Year-Old Passenger Killed in Crash on Tolyatti Bypass

Ministry of Internal Affairs employees reported a fatal accident that occurred on the Tolyatti Bypass highway. A 20-year-old guy, who was a passenger in a Russian-made car, died.

«The accident occurred on January 21 at around 10:05 at the 79th kilometer of the Tolyatti Bypass highway. According to preliminary information, a 23-year-old driver of a Lada Granta did not maintain a safe distance and crashed into a Shacman truck. The 20-year-old passenger died at the scene. Another person — born in 1971 — was hospitalized with multiple injuries,» the Tolyatti State Traffic Inspectorate reported.
