Some residents of Klepikovsky district have started moving to other settlements due to frequent power outages. After the snowfall, another problem has arisen — uncleared roads that are very difficult to drive on. This was reported by YA62.RU from Sergey, a resident of the village of Alexeyevo.

«As early as the first half of January, I urged residents in a group that belongs to the Klepikovsky district administration to file official complaints about the outages. But my appeals were immediately deleted. On top of all this, the roads haven»t been cleared,« writes Sergey.

According to him, living in the village has become practically impossible: roads are blocked by snow, and fuel for the generator has run out. Because of this, the Ryazan resident, who has multiple children, had to temporarily move to Moscow.

«Because of this, I am forced, in the literal sense, to evacuate my wife and children to Moscow. And I have four of them [children]. There»s no food, can«t get to the store. There»s no electricity, fuel for the generator has also run out and can«t be delivered. There are no roads,» says Sergey.

Publicly, representatives of the Klepikovsky district administration have responded to similar complaints. In comments under Governor Pavel Malkov«s posts, they wrote that wires broke due to heavy snow on trees. And restoring electricity quickly is difficult due to snowdrifts.

«Restoration is complicated by snowdrifts and fallen trees, which block access roads to damaged facilities. Power engineers are also removing trees that threaten power lines, but only within protected zones. Currently, in most of the mentioned settlements, there is electricity, and where outages occur regularly — backup generators have been brought in. Specialists are working around the clock and doing everything possible to restore power supply as soon as possible,» was the response given to outraged residents of Klepikovsky district by the administration.

Regarding snow removal, representatives of the local administration responded even more briefly: «We will strengthen control over the quality of clearing. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.»

When the endless power outages will end is unknown. Sergey only knows that investigators have come to the Klepikovsky district. The day before, the head of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, instructed to initiate a criminal case on the violation of residents« rights to utilities.

The head of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee for Ryazan Region, Oleg Vasilyev, will have to present a report on the progress and results of the investigation.

How Klepikovsky district has been surviving with frequent power outages for almost a month — in the YA62.RU article.
