Hot Water Floods Novosibirsk Courtyard for a Week

In the Zayeltsovsky District of Novosibirsk, a burst pipe has been flooding the basement and courtyard of an apartment building with hot water. The Siberian Generating Company (SGK) commented on the situation.
According to a reader of NGS, at 231 Territory of the Yeltsovka Military Sanatorium, the basement began to be flooded with hot water on 13 July.
“We filed a request, and on the 14th they arrived, dug everything up, and found a leaking pipe,” she said. “Today, the water is gushing even more, and it«s hot. You can see steam rising. Children are running around here, people are walking.”
NGS contacted the Siberian Generating Company (SGK) for comment. The company said the defect is under control.
“It will be fixed in the coming days, no later than 24 July. Currently, resources are focused on repairing critical sections serving large numbers of consumers,” the company clarified.
In May, NGS wrote that a lawn and parking lot in Novosibirsk«s Leskova Street were flooded with water from manholes.
