Woman recounts loss of baby and fertility after birth trauma

Almost three years ago, Lyubov Merkulova miraculously survived a very serious operation, but her unborn daughter literally choked due to internal bleeding. They might not have saved the woman herself. «Thank God that the head of department was on duty, we usually don»t save such cases,« they told her in the intensive care unit. After that operation, 37-year-old Lyubov will never be able to give birth again. She spoke about the fateful day of the tragedy and its consequences in a video.

«The child died, but I myself saw that it was already swimming in blood. It was separated from all that. That is, a total placental abruption occurred,» said Lyubov Merkulova. «Moreover, they made me walk up to the third floor. There, the head of department, whom I know, just shouted: »Why isn«t she on a gurney?! She has placental abruption.» The doctors told me that it«s a miracle that I survived in such a situation.
