A rise in visits to trauma centers has been recorded in the Rostov region, attributed to the recent snowfalls. This was reported by the regional Ministry of Health.

Exact figures detailing the increase in patient flow are not provided. Meanwhile, health ministry officials have conducted inspections at local medical facilities today to assess the quality of care.

«To ensure quality and timely care, medical organizations have restructured their work: additional medical staff have been brought in, duty shifts strengthened, and admission and diagnostic processes optimized,» the ministry«s press service said.

Heavy snow blanketed the region on February 2. According to residents, many had to walk home through uncleared streets. Multi-kilometer traffic jams paralyzed the city, and passersby pushed stuck cars out of the way.

Earlier, the addresses and phone numbers of trauma centers in Rostov-on-Don were published in open sources.
