The Ryazan Perinatal Center has received a central monitoring station for fetal monitors. The new equipment was delivered under the national project «Family», the medical facility reported.
The digital station is installed in the maternity ward and consolidates data from all fetal monitors into a single system. This allows doctors and midwives to simultaneously monitor the condition of several women in labor and respond promptly to changes in indicators.
During childbirth, fetal monitors continuously track the fetal heartbeat and uterine contractile activity. If indicators deviate, the system instantly alerts medical staff, enabling faster decision-making.
The Perinatal Center noted that the new equipment improves the safety of medical care for mothers and newborns and meets modern requirements for organizing obstetric care.
In all, the facility will receive 262 units of medical equipment in 2026. The purchase is funded by federal budget under the national project «Family». The equipping of the center continues.
