«The new head is coming to the region«s largest medical institution with a wealth of managerial experience,» the Ministry of Health stated. «His professional path is a vivid example of consistent growth and a deep understanding of the healthcare system.»
Previously, Sergey Kazarin worked as chief physician at Children«s Polyclinic No. 6 in Chelyabinsk. He later headed the regional hospital in Troitsk.
«Under his leadership, key projects were implemented to modernize healthcare facilities and provide medical care,» the Ministry of Health clarified.
Galina Kireeva had led the Chelyabinsk Regional Children«s Clinical Hospital for many years. In December 2024, it became known about her departure from the hospital. In February 2025, she passed away.
Construction of a new wing of the children«s regional hospital is currently underway.
