Rospotrebnadzor Denies Fake Health Bracelet Mandate for Krasnoyarsk

The regional Rospotrebnadzor (Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing) has debunked a fake news story claiming that certain categories of residents will have to wear bracelets to monitor health indicators. They published the refutation on their social media.
It says that a fake decree from the government of Krasnoyarsk Krai was sent to Rospotrebnadzor«s email. It contained a message that from May 2026, some categories of Krasnoyarsk Krai residents will have to obtain bracelets for monitoring body temperature, pulse, and other indicators.
This data would allegedly be transmitted to Rospotrebnadzor itself, and if a person«s body temperature exceeds 37.5 degrees Celsius (99.5°F), they could be isolated within 24 hours.
«These bracelets are »prescribed« for food service workers, employees of medical and educational organizations, civil servants, as well as foreign citizens and stateless persons staying in our region,» Rospotrebnadzor clarified.
In the instruction manual for this bracelet, there is a hotline number for the FBUZ «Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology in Krasnoyarsk Krai», which is also fake. Upon receiving such letters, Rospotrebnadzor representatives ask citizens not to react to them in any way, as the information is fake.
Earlier, NGS24.RU reported that in Krasnoyarsk, information is being spread about quotas for Indian students at Siberian Federal University (SFU).
