Power outage affects hospital operations in Murmansk Oblast
The power failure has forced several clinics and hospitals to adjust their operations and redirect patients.
Due to a power line accident at Rosseti North-West, temporary changes will occur in the operations of medical organizations in Murmansk Oblast tomorrow, January 26. This was reported by the regional health ministry.
Murmansk Regional Medical Center
Patients of the branch at 48 Maklakova Street are advised to go to the branch at 52 Karl Marx Street.
Patients of the branches located at 65 Lobova Street, 33/2 Lobova Street, and 16a Severomorskoye Highway will be redirected to other divisions of the center. Call center staff have informed patients about the changes in advance.
Medical assistance for patients of the mentioned branches will also be provided at the division at 10 Lobova Street. Additional information can be obtained by calling the Unified Contact Center: 56-81-80.
Murmansk Regional Children«s Clinical Hospital
All children«s clinics will operate as usual tomorrow.
However, the department at 33 Lobova Street is temporarily closed. Patient appointments have been moved to Children«s Clinic No. 5 at 1A Inzhenernaya Street. Also, the provision of physiotherapy procedures has been temporarily suspended in all children»s clinics.
Central District Hospital of the Closed Administrative-Territorial Formation of Severomorsk
All medical institutions in Severomorsk are operating normally. Scheduled appointments are being held as planned.
Murmansk Regional Dental Clinic
The department in Severomorsk is temporarily closed. The contact center operator will provide additional information on appointment times. Patients with acute pain are being received in Murmansk at 78 Lenin Avenue.
The department at 56 Geroev Severomortsev Street is also closed. Patients are being referred to the departments at 17 Kapitan Burkova Street and 78 Lenin Avenue. Information on the appointment location for a specific doctor can be clarified with the operator.
Appointments with dental hygienists at the Laplandia center have been canceled. The contact center will inform about new appointment times. Pediatric dentists previously working at 56 Geroev Severomortsev Street are now seeing patients at the pediatric dental department at 8 Sofii Perovskoi Street.
Patients registered at School No. 49 will also be received at 8 Sofii Perovskoi Street. The appointment time for patients of School No. 57 is being clarified through the contact center.
The departments at 78 Lenin Avenue, 17 Kapitan Burkova Street, the pediatric department at 8 Sofii Perovskoi Street, and the dental department in the Roslyakovo microdistrict are operating normally.
Other Medical Institutions
Consultative appointments for patients at the regional oncology, narcology, tuberculosis, and psychoneurological dispensaries, as well as at the Consultative and Diagnostic Center, will be conducted as usual, according to the schedule.
Recall that a state of emergency has been introduced in Murmansk Oblast. The Murmansk Oblast Prosecutor«s Office has already launched an investigation into the mass power outages. A criminal case has been initiated. It turned out that the fallen power line supports had been in service for almost 60 years.
Residents of Murmansk have been told where they can go to warm up and charge electronic devices. City entrepreneurs are ready to provide food from their main menu at a discount. Also, interactive maps have been prepared for citizens.
In the Leninsky District, rotating power outages have been introduced. The addresses where electricity will be cut off are being updated.
Queues are forming at assistance points for hot water and charging.
