The regional Ministry of Health announced on Wednesday, February 4, the appointment of Sergey Kazarin as the new chief physician of the Chelyabinsk Regional Children«s Clinical Hospital.

Previously, Kazarin headed Children«s Polyclinic No. 6 in Chelyabinsk and later served as chief physician of the regional hospital in Troitsk (Chelyabinsk Region).
The Ministry of Health gave high praise to his professional qualities: “The new head comes to the region«s largest medical institution with extensive managerial experience. His career path is a vivid example of consistent growth and a deep understanding of the healthcare system.”
The department also noted that under his leadership, key projects for modernizing medical facilities and organizing care were successfully implemented.
The previous head of the Chelyabinsk Regional Children«s Clinical Hospital for many years was Galina Kireyeva. She left her post in December 2024 and died in February 2025.
Currently, construction of a new building continues on the hospital grounds.
