New Chief at Murmansk Children's Hospital Replaces Serdyuk

Ekaterina Sulima, a pediatrician and allergist-immunologist with over 20 years of experience, has been appointed chief physician of the Murmansk Regional Children«s Clinical Hospital. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of the Murmansk Region.

Before this, Sulima served as first deputy minister of health of the Murmansk Region. In the ministry, she oversaw the work of primary healthcare and addressed the shortage of medical personnel. During this time, she studied best practices in other Russian regions and implemented some of them in the Murmansk Region.

Deputy Governor — Health Minister Dmitry Panychev noted that Sulima will head the consolidated children«s medical institution, which includes children»s polyclinics in the regional center and a hospital.

One of her main tasks will be to finalize the approval of the new regional children«s hospital project. The construction of the new facility will improve the quality and accessibility of medical care for children.

Another task for the new chief physician will be addressing issues related to the Rehabilitation Center for children with nervous system disorders, which is now also part of the hospital. Elena Serdyuk, who previously held the post, will become Sulima«s deputy.
