Nearly 100,000 Omsk Residents Sought Psychiatric Help

Last year, 98,366 people sought psychiatric help in Omsk region. However, there is no significant increase compared to previous years: since 2022, the figure has fluctuated within 1–3%. This was reported to NGS55.RU by the regional Ministry of Health.
In 2025, 1,034 minors sought help from child psychiatrists and psychotherapists. Over the past year, 688 minors were hospitalized in the round-the-clock inpatient unit.
The Ministry of Health explained that most primary disorders, both in adults and children, are associated with stress, anxiety, and adaptation difficulties.
«All schools in the city of Omsk actively interact with child psychiatrists who provide consultations at children«s outpatient sites. To improve the accessibility of psychiatric care, child psychiatrist offices are located in children»s city polyclinics.»
The regional psychiatric hospital employs 131 psychiatrists, of which 20 are child specialists. For care, 1,455 round-the-clock inpatient beds (105 for children) and 495 day hospital places (100 for children) are available.
In addition, medical workers, teachers, and employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (EMERCOM) can receive emergency psychological support. The main institution providing such assistance is the Clinical Psychiatric Hospital named after N.N. Solodnikov. Last year, 57 workers sought help.
Medical workers, employees of educational organizations, and EMERCOM employees can independently seek emergency psychological help at the Budgetary Healthcare Institution of Omsk Region «Clinical Psychiatric Hospital named after N.N. Solodnikov» via 24-hour helplines (tel. 56-56-65), free lines of major mobile operators: Tele2 (2670), MTS (209-201), Beeline (07045), Megafon (79236993003), the daytime psychological helpline from 9:00 to 18:00 (tel. 27-55-11), as well as in-person appointments at the medical-psychological counseling office with a psychiatrist, psychotherapist, or medical psychologist (appointment by tel. 230-236).
