Murmansk Region to Modernize Health Centers: New Equipment
The emphasis will be on early prevention.
The Murmansk Region is joining the overhaul of Health Centers, as announced by regional Health Minister Dmitry Panychev.
«We have been given a clear directive to develop a new model of health protection: to strengthen citizens» health and prevent the consequences of premature aging. That is, we will focus on preserving people«s health and preventing possible diseases not at the risk stage, but much earlier,» Panychev noted.
The Health Center operates on the basis of the Murmansk Regional Medical Center. In the updated format, specialists will assess patients« biological age and provide extended recommendations for lifestyle adjustments.
The Murmansk Regional Medical Center will introduce the domestic diagnostic complex «AngioScan» by the end of the year. The device is designed for early detection of cardiovascular diseases. It «sees» the problem at the level of minor functional disorders, long before the first symptoms appear. Additional information about the possibility of undergoing the examination will be announced separately.
Also, three GigaDoc devices are planned for installation in Murmansk. These devices read characteristics that may reveal hidden problems. GigaDoc will recognize age, pulse, body mass index, heart rate variability, and detect risks of potential pathologies.
Recall that the Murmansk Region is launching the «Healthy North» project, which will combine several formats of assistance — from quick screenings to mobile medical teams.
