Ministry of Health Addresses Preferential Drug Distribution in Omsk

The regional Ministry of Health has detailed the status of preferential medications in city pharmacies. According to the ministry, the drugs are regularly supplied to warehouses. This information was published on the Telegram channel «Fadina Communicates 2.0».

«Medications dispensed under preferential prescriptions are regularly supplied to warehouses. If a patient presents a preferential prescription at a pharmacy and the drug is out of stock, the pharmacist places a request and the drug is delivered,» the Ministry of Health noted.

Additionally, Omsk residents were reminded that prescriptions are valid for 30 days, and pharmacies must provide the medication within this timeframe.

The issue with preferential drugs in Omsk pharmacies started in June last year. Health Minister Dmitry Markelov explained that suppliers were missing medications or supplies.
