On February 6, another magnetic storm will hit Altai Krai. This was reported by the Laboratory of Solar Astronomy of IKI and ISZF.
It will cover the region after calm days at the beginning of February. According to scientists« forecasts, the situation will change sharply on Friday. The first February magnetic storm will break out in the krai.
The storm will last for a day. Specialists have rated it at level G1, which is considered the weakest in the classification.
After that, the magnetosphere in the region will return to a calm state. No other magnetic storms are forecast for this month.
During a magnetic storm, weather-sensitive individuals, as well as people with chronic cardiovascular diseases, may experience worsening well-being: insomnia, headaches, arrhythmia, pressure fluctuations, anxiety, and other symptoms.
They are advised to rest more, avoid physical labor, refrain from alcohol, and have necessary medications on hand.
