Gynecologist explains danger of childbirth after 25

Chief obstetrician-gynecologist of the Ural Federal District Nadezhda Bashmakova answered the question why women are forced to give birth before 25 years. The fact is that at a later age many are unable to conceive due to long-term use of contraceptives or accumulated health problems.

Nadezhda Bashmakova is the chief freelance specialist in obstetrics, gynecology and women«s reproductive health of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation in the Ural Federal District, Doctor of Medical Sciences, professor, Honored Doctor of Russia.

«We absolutely need everyone to understand now: give birth to your first child [must be] before 25 — this means you do not yet have a baggage of diseases. After all, in order not to give birth until thirty, people use contraception for a long time, there are some accidental pregnancies, they terminate them,» — Nadezhda Bashmakova is convinced.

Even a medical abortion, according to the doctor, has its consequences.
