Residents of Rostov Oblast have started visiting trauma centers more frequently — this is due to the recent snowfalls, the regional Ministry of Health reports.

Exactly how much the number of visits to trauma centers has increased is not specified. Today, specialists from the Ministry of Health went to check the quality of care at local medical facilities.

«In order to ensure high-quality and timely care, medical organizations have restructured their work: additional medical staff have been brought in, duty shifts have been reinforced, and admission and diagnostic processes have been optimized,» the press service of the Ministry of Health said.

Rostov Oblast was blanketed with snow on February 2. Rostov residents reported that they had trouble getting home. Some had to walk along uncleared streets. The city was jammed with traffic, and cars got stuck on the roads — concerned passersby pushed them.

Earlier, 161.RU published the addresses and phone numbers of trauma centers in Rostov.
