Doctors have begun remotely monitoring the indicators of over 3,000 patients in Zabaykalsky Krai who are under clinical observation. Their number is set to increase significantly. This was announced on January 23 at a roundtable on the results of 2025 in the healthcare sector, organized by Chita.Ru, by Deputy Minister of Health of the region Roman Dudenko.
Dudenko spoke about the implementation in the region of the federal project «Modernization of the Primary Healthcare Level of the Russian Federation», mentioning new indicators that the region must achieve.
In 2025, for the first time, there was such an indicator — the number of individuals under clinical observation using remote diagnostic methods. This primarily includes cardiovascular diseases and diabetes mellitus. This indicator appeared for the first time with us. And we have already provided over 3,000 people with means for remote observation using this method,« the deputy minister said.
According to Dudenko, this indicator will grow to 125,000 people by 2030: «They will be able to transmit indicators on key life parameters using gadgets and information systems. Very important ones are blood pressure and blood glucose levels. And it will not be necessary to come for appointments; it can be done remotely. This will increase the accessibility of medical care, it will be more convenient for the patient and for the doctor, so that the latter can practically monitor the former»s parameters in online mode and assess the effectiveness of treatment.«
