In the Samara Region, the number of COVID-19 cases is rising again. Over the past week, the increase was more than 14%. This was reported by the regional office of the Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing (Rospotrebnadzor).
The situation is uneven. In ten cities and districts, the infection rate has already exceeded the regional average.
The worst situation is in three locations: Kinel, Oktyabrsk, and Shentalinsky district. These areas recorded the highest number of new infections over the week.
The figures show that the virus has not disappeared and continues to circulate. Although it now often presents in milder forms, the rise in cases is a reason to be more cautious again.
Doctors and epidemiologists remind us of simple precautions. If you feel unwell, it is better to stay home and limit contacts. In crowded places, it makes sense to wear a mask again, especially for those at risk.
Rospotrebnadzor is monitoring the situation and urges residents not to ignore symptoms. If necessary, seek medical attention.
