A new elevator has been promised for the pediatric building of the Regional Children«s Clinical Hospital in Chita after staff at the medical facility appealed to the Russian president. This was reported on January 26 in the Telegram channel of the regional branch of the People»s Front.

‘Staff at the children«s hospital appealed to the president»s direct line with a complaint about a broken elevator. This caused daily difficulties for medical personnel, parents with children, and patients with limited mobility. The People«s Front prioritized the appeal and forwarded it to the Ministry of Health of Zabaykalsky Krai,’
It is noted that as a result, a decision was made to install a new elevator. As reported to the People«s Front by Oksana Nemakina, Minister of Health of Zabaykalsky Krai, the work is planned for 2026, with 20 million rubles (approximately $200,000 at current rates) allocated for this purpose.
