Arkhangelsk psychiatric hospital owes 28 million rubles

A psychiatric hospital in Arkhangelsk owes over 28 million rubles (approx. $311,000) to 82 contractors for maintenance, cleaning, security, and patient meals. The debt was repaid after a prosecutor's inspection.

A psychiatric hospital in Arkhangelsk owes over 28 million rubles (approx. $311,100 at current rates) to entrepreneurs who maintain the building and feed patients.
«It has been established that the GBUZ Arkhangelsk Region «Arkhangelsk Clinical Psychiatric Hospital» has entered into contracts with 82 business entities for the supply of goods and provision of services. Contrary to legal requirements, payment to entrepreneurs under executed contracts has not been made, resulting in a debt of more than 28 million rubles,» reported the regional prosecutor«s office.
According to the editorial staff«s own sources, the hospital owed for technical maintenance and repair of elevators, cleaning of buildings, transportation of medical waste, provision of transport and security services, and organization of therapeutic nutrition for patients.
After the prosecutor«s office inspection, the hospital repaid the debt.
