The city beach of Yakutsk is flooding. Water levels on the Lena River rose due to rain flooding and submerged the coastal zone. This was reported on July 21 by the publication «Echo of the Capital».

According to the website of the Yakutsk UGMS, at the gauge station of the suburban village of Tabaga, the water level is 86 cm above normal. At the gauge station of the Kangalassy microdistrict, water is expected to overflow the banks. According to the forecast, the flood will peak on July 23, and from July 24 the water will begin to recede.
