Wind Intensifies, Tuesday Colder

On Monday, July 20, Saint Petersburg will find itself on the northeastern outskirts of a cyclone approaching the Baltic states, warned Mikhail Leus, lead specialist at the FOBOS weather center.
Cloud cover will increase, and northeast winds will strengthen. Precipitation is unlikely, except for local rains in the south of Leningrad Oblast.
Due to clouds and northerly winds, the air will not warm to the climatic norm. Temperatures in Saint Petersburg will reach 19–21°C (66–70°F), in Leningrad Oblast 16–21°C (61–70°F), and up to 24°C (75°F) in the south.
Northeast wind speed will be 5–10 m/s. Atmospheric pressure is around 760 mmHg, which is normal.
On Tuesday, July 21, Saint Petersburg will see rain. Overnight temperatures will drop to 12–14°C (54–57°F), and daytime highs will not exceed 15–17°C (59–63°F).
