Wind Halts Bridge Drawings in St. Petersburg
Due to strong winds, all drawbridges in St. Petersburg will remain closed on the night of July 21, except for the Liteyny Bridge, which will close as scheduled for planned work.

On the night of July 21, the drawbridge operation in St. Petersburg was canceled due to strengthening winds. Forecasts indicate wind speeds of up to 16 m/s, which is considered unsafe for the procedure.
According to Mostotrest (the St. Petersburg bridge management company), all crossings will remain in the closed position for pedestrian and vehicle traffic. The only exception is the Liteyny Bridge, which will close according to schedule from 01:40 to 04:45 due to planned work.
