In Volgograd, passengers of trolleybus No. 15a complain about unbearable heat in the cabin. The air conditioner is not working, so the only source of air is open windows, but this does not help to cool down.
«It feels like 40°C (104°F) outside, and the 15a runs without air conditioning,» a reader shares. «Passengers just complain to each other about the heat and discuss that lately, vehicles often run without AC.»
Today and in the coming days, Volgograd is expected to be hot: temperatures will not drop below 30°C (86°F). Tomorrow, July 22, thermometers will exceed 35°C (95°F).
Another female passenger is outraged: «Even without this, trolleybuses are often so crowded that residents turn into sardines in a can. And in such heat, we will not only marinate in sweat but also bake.»
The administration of Volgograd is investigating whether there are problems with air conditioners in trolleybus No. 15a.
Earlier, similar complaints were received about the new trolleybuses «Lvyata» (Lion Cubs). Then the city administration promised to conduct an additional check of the equipment.
