Vishera Reserve searches for boy who wanted a camera trap

Just before New Year«s, the Vishera (Vishersky) Nature Reserve published an emotional post searching for a boy named Arseniy. They want to give the child a present from Father Frost.

The reserve explained the reason for the search in its VKontakte group. It turns out, the boy made an impression on staff at the summer Blueberry and Blueberry Pie Festival. At the reserve«s site, Arseniy was extremely interested in the camera traps used to film animals in their natural habitat.

«Little Arseniy examined the equipment for a long time and, despite his parents» coaxing, didn«t want to leave the reserve»s grounds. The child decided the camera trap was exactly what he needed! He wouldn«t yield to his mom»s promises of ice cream or other fun,« shared the Vishera staff. »We thought: what if this boy Arseniy is a future zoologist? What if the memory of the camera trap and the explanations he heard from scientific department employee Zimin someday play a role in his professional development...«

They promised Arseniy that if he really, really wanted one, Father Frost would give him a camera trap. However, the reserve did not keep the boy«s contact information. Therefore, Vishera is asking Arseniy»s parents or anyone who knows him to come forward. Then Father Frost will be able to hand the child his longed-for gift.
