Victim of Bogorodsk Maniac Describes Escape and Torture on TV
The investigation continues into the horrific story from the Moscow region, where a month ago law enforcement arrested a serial maniac from the Bogorodsk urban district, accused of two murders, rapes, and inciting drug use. He found his victims online by posting ads seeking nannies for his son, whom the father, according to the Telegram channel Baza, forced to watch his atrocities.
Of the four affected girls, two have gone missing, and two managed to escape. One of them is his wife, whom he beat and raped. She is now undergoing rehabilitation in a rehab center and hopes to return to a normal life. The second is Anna Terentyeva, who managed to escape from the ill-fated house all the way to the Volgograd region, where she was found in one of the hospitals.
She spoke about the atrocities she endured and how she escaped from the killer on the talk show «Let Them Talk.»
«He Had Romantic Relationships with the Missing Nannies»
The 46-year-old Dmitry, accused of atrocities, lived in the gardening community «Zvezda.» On the day Anna Terentyeva fell into the maniac«s hands, they were already searching for a 19-year-old law student from the Russian University of Cooperation who went missing on July 27. Notably, none of the locals saw the girls: he probably brought and took them away in his car.
«He told me about the nanny before me, that she left. And in general, he said that nannies seemed to leave him every month. He had romantic relationships with the [missing] nannies, he dated them,» Anna said on the show.
Anna Terentyeva described her ordeal with surprising composure during the TV interview.
Like the other victims, Anna came to him through an ad seeking a nanny for his nine-year-old son. Although she made inquiries about Dmitry after the fact, she found nothing suspicious except bankruptcy and his work as a car dealer.
Besides personal photos, on his social media, the man asked for help in finding his wife Polina, offering 100,000 rubles (approximately $1,100 at current rates) for information. A former colleague knew that Dmitry drugged and beat his wife, as he admitted to REN TV, but chose to ignore «family matters.»
«The Bed Is His Favorite Place for Torture»
Besides murders and rapes, the maniac is accused of inciting drug use. As the third victim of the maniac said on the TV channel, he secretly mixed substances into her water, and when she became helpless, he proceeded to torture her.
«At that moment, I thought I had one foot in the grave. I believed that if he wanted to do something, he would do it now. Once, roughly speaking, he beat me against the floor, grabbing me by the hair. I had a nosebleed, I was covered in my own blood. He wiped the blood from under me, as I remember very vaguely, and then forced me to sit on the bed. The bed was his favorite place for torture, it seems to me,» Anna said on the TV channel.
The victim«s back showed bruises left by beatings with a broad leather belt.
All this happened in front of the 9-year-old child. According to the Telegram channel Baza, the maniac gave the boy «unpleasant-tasting juice» and forced him to watch the torture and rapes of the girls. However, as another channel, SHOT, claims, no drugs were found in the child«s body.
«[The child was] in the next room on the second floor or on the first floor in the living room. He could have a snack, watch videos. At that time, the father allowed him to do anything. He could enter the room to bring something to his father.»
«I Had Stopped Reacting to the Beatings»
In the maniac«s captivity, according to the girl, she was on the brink of life and death three times. After the abuse, she could only walk by leaning on walls and furniture — the monster had beaten the muscles in her legs with a belt.
«[He liked] to beat, to have fun, to see how a person would react. I, for example, had already stopped reacting to his further actions and beatings. Solar plexus, ribs, kidneys, spine, face. I don»t know if it was with all his strength, because I no longer felt pain.«
She managed to escape only after a month, on August 16. In an interview with the Telegram channel «112,» she said that the maniac let her go because she severely «shook» his emotional state. Although on the TV show the girl was stoically calm, she was able to cope with the horror she experienced only with the help of specialists.
«After the escape, when I was in my savior»s house and he went to the store, at that moment thoughts like: «Maybe I should do something to myself after such violation?» I stopped myself at that moment.«
To this day, Anna«s voice trembles when she remembers the atrocities she suffered.
