Updated Beeline 4G Now Available in Seven Villages in Kurgan Region

The mobile operator continues to expand its LTE* network coverage in remote districts of the Kurgan region, providing villagers with high-quality mobile internet and voice communications on par with residents of major cities.

In particular, over recent months the company«s technical specialists have installed new base stations and conducted targeted adjustments of telecom equipment in seven settlements in the region:

• Belozersky District — the village of Borovlyanka;
• Ketovsky District — the villages of Ketovo and Lesnikovo;
• Kurtamyshsky District — the village of Pepelino;
• Mokrousovsky District — the village of Travnoe;
• Petukhovsky District — the resort settlement of Lake Medvezhye;
• Shadrinsky District — the village of Klyuchi.

Thanks to the upgrade, residents of these small settlements can now make the most of the opportunities provided by 4G**: communicating with family and friends in various formats — via video calls, messengers, and voice messages, using the «Gosuslugi» public services portal and taking distance learning courses, shopping on marketplaces, watching films and series, listening to audiobooks, and more.

Meanwhile, as a result of the infrastructure upgrade, network reliability has also improved in the vicinity of the famous Lake Medvezhye, which is called the Trans-Ural Dead Sea due to its high salinity. In some seasons, it can reach the same levels as the actual Dead Sea.

Now trips to this unique place will become even more comfortable — Beeline customers, using the operator«s network, will be able to plot the optimal route to their destination, monitor weather conditions online, and share photos on social networks.
