Ulyanovsk Feb 4: 28 Accidents, One Injury

On 4 February 2026, 28 road accidents occurred in Ulyanovsk Oblast. One incident resulted in a person being injured, while the other 27 cases involved only mechanical damage to vehicles.

The accident with a casualty occurred at 16:05 on Prospekt Aviastroiteley in the Zavolzhsky district of Ulyanovsk, near building No. 3. According to preliminary data, the driver of a VAZ-2329 hit a pedestrian who was crossing the road at an uncontrolled pedestrian crossing. The driver was a sober man born in 1993 with 14 years of driving experience. The pedestrian was a woman born in 1988. She was taken to a medical facility and later released home.

The circumstances of this accident are currently being clarified. The State Traffic Inspectorate (Gosavtoinspektsiya) urges drivers to follow the rules, be attentive near pedestrian crossings and public transport stops, as road discipline affects the safety of all road users.
