A part of the new embankment has appeared near the Profsoyuzny Bridge. Now, from there to the «Steamship Office» building, one can walk directly along the Tura River. The bank has been developed not entirely, but only partially. Further on, a small path leads, but it is not dark — along the path are hundreds of small lanterns. Below, we show and tell what is here.

The bridge supports are stylized and adorned with decorative elements.

You can access the new embankment section from Gosporovskaya Street, specifically where it runs under the bridge. This is the easiest route, as the residential complexes being built nearby are fenced off. To the right, under the overpass and the start of the embankment, there are playgrounds, and the bridge supports are decorated.

Walkers may encounter a fence, with the path to the Steamship Office located to the left.

If you walk a bit further, small neat fences will appear, and the main feature currently on this embankment — the «Albrecht» port crane. Next to it, a mail car has been placed, decorated festively.

Two art objects on the embankment include a postal carriage and a port crane.

Also, tables and various benches have been placed on the embankment. Apparently, this is for summer — in winter at -30°C (-22°F), sitting there is not desirable for obvious reasons. Probably, that«s why they are not cleared but covered in snow.

The postal carriage, identified by an inscription, is decorated with festive tinsel.

The new embankment section ends where the construction of a residential complex by the company «Brusnika» is currently underway. Further on — a small path between old buildings and the steep bank of the Tura River. In one place, even a pier remains, which you can access. It is high, and it«s hard to believe that the city»s main river was once so full of water.

This perspective shows the embankment as visitors on a stroll would see it.

A little further still — the familiar part of the city embankment and the «Steamship Office» building.

The area is expected to attract crowds during the summer months.

Earlier, we showed how Tyumen«s Arbat (a pedestrian street) has changed over 20 years. And how do you remember it?

Further along, pillars fitted with hundreds of small lanterns line the path to the Steamship Office.
